How do I search for a domestic helper on Maidfinder?
Go to Search maids and use the filters for nationality, skills, languages, fees, and work experience. Results update as you refine your criteria. You can also start from nationality or skill landing pages linked in the footer.
What is a shortlist?
A shortlist lets you save maid profiles you are interested in. Maidfinder keeps the search criteria that matched each maid so you can review why they fit before contacting agencies.
How do I enquire about a maid?
From a biodata page or search results you can send enquiries to agencies. Some listings include WhatsApp contact. Your enquiry goes to the agency that manages that helper's biodata.
Are all maids on Maidfinder available immediately?
Published biodata shows helpers agencies are actively offering. Availability changes quickly — confirm timing, transfer status, and deployment with the agency before making decisions.
What is the difference between a transfer maid and a new hire?
A transfer maid is already in Singapore and may be available sooner. A new hire is recruited from overseas and typically takes longer because of selection, permits, travel, and mandatory programmes. See our employer guides for a detailed comparison.
Who sets salaries and agency fees?
Salaries and fees are agreed between employer and agency/helper within MOM rules and market practice. Biodata may show indicative ranges — confirm final amounts with your agency.
